The goals of this non-profit organization (conforming to a law passed in 1901) are to :

Restore and maintain the machinery as it was originally built(1474).
Restore and maintain the infrastructures of water supply.
Restart the machinery for educational and experimentation purposes.
Promote the old technologies of the region.
Develop partnership with concerned trades.
Build educational projects with specialised training colleges :
Organise dedicated visits and conferences for schools, colleges, and all concerned organizations.
Participate in the tourism development and cultural life of the "Region Auvergne".
Participate in the working life of other non-profit organizations with related activities.
